This thesis deals with the general analysis and value stream improvement. The theoretical part describes the difference between functional and procedural model of company management, mutual benefits and disadvantages of these systems. The thesis deals with the mapping process, subdivision maps and methodology of process maps creation. The work also includes software analysis for process mapping. Next section contains search of selected optimization tools and methods to improve production flow and description of the principles of controlled documentation. In the practical part is realized mapping process of bachelor studies at FEKT and map of production process at ABB switchgear.

Diploma thesis deals with the management of human resources sales department at Paints and varnishes Teluria Ltd. and also proposes changes to the current management approach leading to financial savings by increasing the efficiency of the current set of information flows. Compares used human resources management system in the company with the latest trends and literature. In addition, monitors real way of working the sales department including the actual cost of remuneration and training of employees in the company. On the basis of implemented survey is designed to streamline the operation of the sales department.

Šoustar, M. Key factors of the financial performance of business entities in the meat products production sector. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023 The diploma thesis deals with the identification of key factors of the financial performance of business entities from the meat products industry in the context of the effect of a symmetrical economic shock on the territory of the Czech Republic. The main goal of the work is to propose such recommendations for these enterprises that will lead to an increase in economic performance. To fulfil the main goal, a situational analysis of the given industry was prepared together with comprehensive financial analysis of two selected companies, including a comparison with the industry. Key factors were determined using correlation and sensitivity analysis with change testing on industry data. At the end of the work, based on these results, general recommendations are declared for the areas of key factors aimed at positively influencing the economic performance of economic entities in the meat products production sector.

The thesis deals with the issue of performance management in relation to the evaluation and remuneration of employees. Performance management (performance management) is the process of ensuring that a set of work activities and outputs effectively meet the stated strategic objectives of an organisation. In this paper, the factors that influence work climate, employee motivation and performance were analyzed and identified. In the theoretical part, the background in the field of personnel activities, human capital, human resource management, professional competencies and work performance of selected groups of employees was elaborated. Emphasis was placed on defining models of employee evaluation and remuneration. Individual criteria are linked in company practice with analytical job evaluation and then compared with formal evaluation of employee performance over a certain period. On the basis of the theoretical foundations thus defined, the second part of the thesis was developed - empirical. This part describes the research carried out, which was designed as a mixed-method research, i.e. using qualitative and quantitative approaches. 6 Abstract This thesis aims to offer a comprehensive view of corporate communication while emphasizing its importance for everyday life of corporations and achievement of their strategic targets. The thesis introduces potential interpretations of corporate communication with the main focus on key moments of corporate communication as well as on consequences non-effective communication has on employee satisfaction and their life in the corporation. In the thesis I opted for the method of compilation and comparison of professional literature along with expert interviews which reveal the quality of internal communication in two selected corporations and prove one-sided view of communication inside corporations. The first part of the thesis provides a detailed look at characteristics of individual communication forms, knowledge of these characteristics being the cornerstone of further research in corporate communication. Besides, this part also describes the principles of active listening, a skill which is frequently omitted from the communication skill list. This thesis is devoted to coaching, which is a relatively new trend in the field of people leadership, explaining what the experiences with this tool of development are in the current practice in kindergartens management. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature depicting the topic of coaching in different contexts - dealing with the issue of human resource management and changes in manager's approach to the performance management. The practical part presents results of a questionnaire-based research for a broader look at the issue and the results of the qualitative approach implemented through structured interviews, life-history method and document analysis. The dissertation deals with the issue of guest workers in the home with special regime. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with human resource management, as described in the literature. The essential question is to link a system of evaluation in the Organization, with the achievement of mission and objectives of the organization. The work focuses on the links between performance management and evaluation of staff. Further focuses on the evaluation criteria, the various forms and the methods of evaluation, and also on the assumptions and the skills of the evaluator, but also the assumptions of investigational agents, their ability to reflect on their work and the ability of self assessment. The diploma thesis is focused on the planning of personal development of employees in the context of the process of performance management in the organization. Attention is paid to the role and function of personal development planning in achieving the set goals in the process of performance management. The theoretical part defines concepts of performance management, education and development and personal development planning and describes theories of these concepts. The analytical part, based on a study of internal documents and interviews with managers, describes how the work performance of employees in Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank is managed. The result of this research was identification of weaknesses in the application of the concept of work performance management in the organization. Finally, recommendations are proposed in order to streamline the mentioned processes in the organization. Effect of the style of school principal leadership on work performance management and development of teaching staff

The diploma thesis deals with the management styles of directors of educational institutions in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to analyze the influence of the school principal's management style on the teaching staff in a connection with the management of work performance and the development of pedagogical staff. The first part of the thesis deals with and describes the theoretical background. It defines the basic concepts of general management, people management and specifies all for the school environment. It presents knowledge about leadership styles, about work performance, which is specified for work performance management in non-profit organizations. Another presented aspect of the leader's work is the professional development of employees, which in the field of education is represented by the school principal through a compulsory further education of pedagogical staff - in service. The second part of the thesis presents a questionnaire of sociologist Professor Dr Philip Hallinger entitled - The Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale, abbreviated PIMRS, which the author of thesis translated and tested in the environment of Czech schools.
